Bullet   Current Objective: Put the steps for patch panel installation in the correct order
Remove snap-in faceplates. Terminate modular jacks, fiber optic adapters, and coax connectors to their respective cables and install them into the snap-in faceplate. NOTE: Make sure that you maintain pair twists to within one half inch of termination for high performance copper applications.
Once all of the terminated modules have been installed in the snap-in faceplate, simply snap the faceplate into the patch panel opening. NOTE: Modules can also be installed into the faceplate when snapped in patch panel.
Install patch cords into the snap-in slots on the front of cable management panel.
Mount the Mini-Com Snap-In Faceplate Patch Panel and the cable management panel to a standard EIA 19 inch rack.
